Barack Obama versus Republican Xenophobic Baby Boomers

Republicans call Obama a socialist because he’s trying to address why eighty-five percent of America’s money is controlled by five percent of the population.’The money will trickle down’ the Republicans said. Pyschotic conservatives terrified of Obama creating a socialist America should be breathing a sigh of relief now that the bling loving cougars of ‘Sex and the City’ are making a sequel. If any demographic would stop the creation of a socialist America it would be those ladies. If people are sad about the direction President Obama is taking them people should ask themselves if their problems are due to seasonal affective disorder. View SAD

September and October are historically ‘the cruelest months’ for the stock market and it’s been a cruel period for Barack Obama also with a lot of Republican hatred directed at him. The Republican part of the baby boomer generation are turning extremely xenophobic in their old age. If you don’t think some of America’s aging baby boomers haven’t been around for too long I dare you to endure a week of David Letterman without hearing the same Donald Trump and ‘the squirrels at Central park’ jokes. 

Barack Obama was right to call Kanye a jackass for his meltdown at the MTV awards. Viral Kanye Link  But if Kanye was a jackass then what do we call Mike Huckabee for accusing Barack Obama of socialism? Huckabee called Obama’s bank bailout plan a proposal ‘Lenin and Stalin would love’.  All that Bible reading has clearly not turned Huckabee into a scholar.

If Barack Obama were on an episode of Survivor he would only be on episode 3. He has won a few competitions, his competitors know he’s the strongest and they will work together to bring him down. The Republicans tried the same enemy camp tactics when Roosevelt was president : Confuse everyone about someone who is trying to save capitalism.

Why President Obama is not a socialist

His administration is avoiding structural changes to the financial system as nationalization is not in their playbook. They favor temporary measures that can be rolled back easily when the economy stabilizes.

When it comes to war the Commander in Chief again has no socialist credentials. By August 2010 Obama still intends on having up to 50,000 troops in Iraq and wishes to expand the war in Afghanistan. A socialist foreign policy would call for the immediate removal of all troops. If Barack Obama were a socialist he would be sending tens of thousands of engineers as well as U.S. scholars to fix countries while indoctrinating them with socialism at the same time.

Barack Obama voted ‘present’ nearly 130 times in the Illinois State senate because primary candidates don’t do tough votes and do not take positions on politically uncomfortable issues. If Barack Obama wasn’t prepared to be a ‘workhorse senator’ people shouldn’t expect him to be a President who would radically change the political makeup of the entire country.

If Barack Obama is eventually blamed for a comeback of socialism in America it is because the millions of online social networking people who support him have empty pantries due to unemployment and they have all collectively turned socialist.

The new age of online politics became obvious in Barack Obama’s first back to school speech when he told the kids to be careful what they put on Facebook. During the Presidential election five and a half million Americans clicked on the ‘I Voted’ button in Facebook to confirm they voted for Barack Obama. Eleven million people will click on the ‘I voted’ button by 2012 based on 4.5 billion dollars being spent by 2012 on social networking in comparison to 2.1 billion dollars in 2008. Link to Social Networking Forecast

The title of the New York Times article: ‘Aim of Obama Health Speech: Reigniting a Presidency’ could have easily been applied to Barack Obama’s back to school speech. Reigniting his presidency by being a moral compass for Facebook users is just as beneficial as it gives Barack Obama the opportunity to inspire the older school kids who will be at voting age by 2012. With 70% of teens using social networks the Mom’s and Dad’s who pay for most of that internet usage will be supporting Obama after his school speech. Republican and Independent Voters worried about socialist indoctrination of children should ask themselves why would Barack Obama pursue socialism when he can pursue the opportunity to social network which will by default indoctrinate. The leadership strengths Barack Obama displayed as a presidential candidate were the ability to convince people he could create change and build solidarity. Barack Obama’s plan as president is to create change based on that solidarity through social networking. If the Republicans don’t play a bigger part in social networking they will cease to be a political force by 2012.

An instance where Barack Obama needs to be seen making Republicans and Bankers angry

In a Bloomberg News interview President Obama said: ‘Why is it that we’re going to cap executive compensation for Wall Street bankers but not Silicon Valley entrepreneurs or N.F.L. football players? View Link  This was a poorly crafted response to a question on limiting financial sector pay. Barack Obama is clearly a basketball fan as the National Football League does have pay caps. Tech firms don’t crash global operating systems when they go bankrupt either.

For Barack Obama to be remembered in the good times he should make the case that reforming bankers’ compensation is the single best thing we can do to prevent another financial crisis. As it was Republicans who allowed the bonus system to get out of control President Obama really should be maximizing an opportunity to say ‘I fixed this.’
